Seventeen years in the cutting room. Thirty-plus credits across ABC, Netflix, Peacock and more. Editor by trade, producer by necessity, storyteller by obsession.
Adam Varney is an editor and producer with seventeen years of credits across the biggest unscripted franchises on television and streaming. His résumé runs from Duck Dynasty and American Ninja Warrior in the early 2010s to recent seasons of The Bachelorette, House of Villains, and Kevin Hart's In the Ring.
As a Co-Executive Producer, Adam has helped shape some of the most-talked-about shows on Netflix and Peacock, including Prank Encounters, Celebrity Prank Wars, and the upcoming YouTube run of In the Ring with Kevin Hart. On the feature side, his cutting-room credits include the John Travolta–directed Propeller One-Way Night Coach (in post-production) and Jeta Amata's eOne thriller Black November, alongside genre titles for Lionsgate and Vertical Entertainment.
Adam is proficient in Avid Media Composer and the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and is a card-carrying member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild (MPEG Local 700) based in Los Angeles. He approaches every project the same way — as a story problem first, a craft problem second.
